Oracle Field Service Integrations

The Oracle Utilities Digital Assets Cloud Service Integration to Oracle Field Service supports integration with Oracle Field Service. This integration provides the following functionality:

  • Work Activity Request: Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service and Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Management creates work orders and associated work activities as part of the device setup step within the enrollment or unenrollment process for utility-owned controllable devices. Work activities can also be created for supporting investigation work as part of troubleshooting. These work activities contain customer contact information, information about any related programs, and key information related to the type of work, the work window, its duration, required crew, and details to be captured during the work. Work activities are sent to Oracle Field Service so that crews can be assigned as appropriate.

  • Work Activity Completion: When the work activities are completed, Oracle Field Service sends work completion details back to Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Cloud Service and Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Management, which in turn continues processing of the enrollment or unenrollment request.
