Three Decimals Places for Currency

The overall system uses the base currency defined in Installation Options, and all financial transactions use the base currency. However, the purchasing system supports other currencies which can be defined in the Currency portal. The currency code will appear as an option wherever a currency code is required on purchasing records, such as on a blanket contract or purchase order. Any currency codes used in the purchasing system which are different from the base currency are converted into the base when the system creates financial transactions.

Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management supports up to three digits after the decimal for currency.

To configure the system for three decimal currency, set the number of decimal positions when defining currency codes.

Refer to the Defining Currency Codes section in the Oracle Utilities Application Framework documentation for more information.
