Service Codes

Service categories include a list of valid service codes. These service codes drive the processing of the service call record into a work document.

Service codes can be configured to automatically create follow-up work for service calls that include a service code with one or more of the following definitions:

  • To Do is created when the To Do Type and the To Do Role is defined.
  • A work request is created when the Create Work Request field is set to “Yes”. Optionally, the Work Request Approval Profile can also be defined.
  • A work order is created when a Template Work Order is defined. Optionally a Work Order Approval Profile can also be specified.
