3.3 Test Data Sources Password Change

This topic explains systematic instructions to test whether the data source password change was successful.

1. Log in to the IBM Websphere application server.
2. Go to the Home, click Resources and click JDBC and then click Data Sources.
   A table will display that contains the list of all data sources created in the application server.
3. Select one of the following data source from the Preferences table.

   Table 3-1 Data Sources

   Name of Data Sources	JNDI name
   Host Schema	jdbc/fcjdevDS
   Scheduler Data Source	jdbc/fcjSchedulerDS
   ELCM Data Source	jdbc/fcjdevDS
   Gateway Data Source	FLEXTEST.WORLD
   Branch Schema	jdbc/fcjBranchDs

4. Click the Test Connection button.

   The screen displays a message confirming successful testing.

5. Once you get the message, restart the application server.
6. Start Oracle Banking Corporate Lending.
7. Log in and test whether the change was successful.

   Note:

   Try the above process in UAT or any other test environment before you change the password in a production environment.

   The above all steps are applicable to Scheduler, ELCM, Gateway, and Branch Schema data sources.
