13.1 Funding Options and Process

This topic provides information on Funding Options and Process.

Initial Deposit and Funding Selection

  1. Initial Deposit Amount:
    Enter the amount (in USD) to be deposited into the newly opened account. The deposit must be greater than the displayed minimum amount.
  2. Select a Funding Option:
    Choose from the options below:
    1. Fund Using Finicity
      1. Select "Fund Using Finicity" and click the "Make Payment" button.
      2. The Finicity interface will load and guide you step-by-step:
        1. Select "Fund Using Finicity" and click the "Make Payment" button.
        2. Login: Log in securely to your external bank
        3. Choose Account: Select the account from which funds will be debited

      Note:

      Finicity acts as a secure intermediary for selecting and verifying your account. The actual debit is processed by the host system, using the submitted account information.
    2. Own Internal Transfer
      1. If you are an existing customer, select this to fund the account from an existing savings or checking account with the bank.
      2. Choose the account number from which to transfer funds.
      3. Click "Make Payment" to complete the transfer.
      4. A confirmation and payment reference number will display upon successful completion.
    3. Other Payment Methods
      1. Select "Other Payment Methods" and click "Make Payment."
      2. You will be redirected to the Payment Gateway page (e.g., for debit card, net banking).
      3. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the payment.
    4. Skip Payment
      1. Click "Skip Payment" if you do not wish to fund the account immediately.
      2. You will be redirected to the bank's portal home page.
