A.2.57 Periodic Fee Maintenance

Fee Periodic Maintenance is configured to an account at the begining of the contract. This can further be updated i.e. periodic fee posting on the account can be started/ stopped during the servicing stage of the account by posting PERIODIC_FEE_MAINTENANCE - PERIODIC FEE MAINTANENCE non-monetary transaction in Customer Service > Maintenance > Transaction Batch Information section.

This transaction helps to post new recurring fee on the account and does not support to change any frequency or calculation type of existing fee record. In such cases, system displays an error indicating 'Fee Type code is already existing on account and parameters cannot be changed'.

PERIODIC_FEE_MAINTENANCE - PERIODIC FEE MAINTANENCE	FEE MINIMUM AMOUNT Specify the minimum fee amount to be posted on the account.
PERIODIC_FEE_MAINTENANCE - PERIODIC FEE MAINTANENCE	FEE MAXIMUM AMOUNT Specify the maximum fee amount to be posted on the account.
PERIODIC_FEE_MAINTENANCE - PERIODIC FEE MAINTANENCE	FEE PERCENTAGE Specify the percentage fee amount to be posted on the account.
PERIODIC_FEE_MAINTENANCE - PERIODIC FEE MAINTANENCE	GROSS CAPITALIZED COST FROM Specify the minimum value of gross capitalization cost. This field is applicable only for Lease product.
PERIODIC_FEE_MAINTENANCE - PERIODIC FEE MAINTANENCE	POST MATURITY FEE INDICATOR Specify the post maturity fee indicator as either Yes or No from the drop-down list. This field is applicable only for Lease product.

On posting the transaction, if the fee system updates the Fee definition record in Setup > Contract > Fee definition section.

• If the Periodic fee definition is already exist on account, system will set the run date next of fee as DT_MAX. This implies, recurring fee calculation will be stopped on the account.
• If the periodic fee definition is not available or stopped; system will define new fee on account and system will start charging recurring fee from next applicable cycle.
