E.2.3.3 Attach Sales Tax Exemption Certificate
This topic provides information about attaching a sales tax exemption certificate to support the tax-exempt status of an account or transaction.
For every sales tax exemption, user can provide a proof of verification by
attaching the exemption certificate to the account. However, validating the authenticity
of the certificate is not handled in OFSLL.
To attach sales tax certificate to an application, user need to first upload
the document into the system through Account Documents screen and attached it to
the application through Customer Service, click
Document Tracking tab.
The sales tax exemption certificate is linked to the application. For more information on the process of document upload, refer to Account Documents chapter in User Guide.
