Deleting Config ID

You can delete a Config ID only if you have not done any configurations using it. After you have used a Config ID for making any configuration changes, you cannot delete it. That is, once a Config ID is Active and you have done configuration changes in the application, you cannot delete it.

Note:

You cannot delete a Config ID that is currently under use. To do that, switch to another Config ID and then delete it.
To delete a Config ID, follow this procedure:
  1. From Menu, select Configuration, Configuration Control, and then Config ID Manager.
  2. Select Action against the Config ID that you want to delete and select Delete. A confirmation message appears asking if you are sure about deleting the Config ID and warns that the action cannot be undone.
  3. Select Yes. The page briefly displays a message saying the Config ID has been deleted.
