1.52 Address Type

This topic describes the information to configure an address types.

This screen manages the various types of addresses a bank intends to use for the customer (Example, Home, Office, etc.). Users can create address types as needed to support specific use cases. These maintained address types will be available in the LOV of Customer Address screen, to choose and maintain address accordingly.

An indicative list of address types are as follows:

SI Address Type Description
1 Home Residential address where a customer lives
2 Work The location of a customer employer or workplace
3 Office Business address of a company or an individual’s job location
4 Billing Address where invoices are sent.
5 Shipping Address designated for receiving deliveries or goods ordered.
6 Mailing The preferred address for general correspondence or mail
7 Temporary An address where a customer resides for a limited period
8 Seasonal An address used during specific times of the year
9 Primary The main address associated with an account or individual
10 Secondary An additional address, used if the primary address is unavailable or for alternate purposes.
11 Legal The address officially registered for legal correspondence, compliance, or statutory notices.
12 Registered The address at which an entity is officially registered and recognized by authorities.
13 PO Box A postal box address provided by a post office for receiving mail
14 Emergency Contact The address of a person to contact in case of emergency.
15 Branch Office The address of a subsidiary or secondary office within an organization’s network.
16 Head Office The main corporate address for an organization
17 Registered Office The official address of an incorporated company

The list above is intended for address type identification only.

Users may close any unwanted address types. But once an address is used for an active address maintenance, it’s not allowed to be closed.
