Management Ledger Volume Optimization reduces unnecessary processing and storage of Management Ledger balance records. It allows authorized users to define ledger-level rules for zero-balance retention. The capability is supported by a new contract-level Derecognition Flag and applies configuration changes prospectively, without reprocessing historical data.

These controls help optimize Management Ledger data volume while allowing institutions to preserve the accounting behavior and consistency rules required for their business.
