18.8.3 Revaluation-ML Segments Default Value for Unrealised Gain and Loss Figures

This feature enables users to define default Management Ledger (ML) segment values against which the unrealised gain/loss movements and balances should be captured during revaluation. Using this feature, users can review the eligible ML segments for each ledger and specify whether each segment value should be derived As per ML or assigned using a predefined Dimension Member value.

If a ledger does not have its own ML segment mapping, the system uses the "Default" ledger mapping to determine the applicable ML segments for that ledger. The saved user selections are then applied on top of the ledger or default mapping.

This configuration must be completed before the Revaluation Preparation pipeline execution and must not be altered when other revaluation processes are in execution.
