6.3.3.6.1 Creating Rate Dependency Patterns

You can create Rate Dependency Patterns to attach to forecast business rules. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Rate Dependency Pattern Summary page. The Rate Dependency Pattern Details page is displayed.

2. Enter a Name and a brief description of the pattern.

   Select the Folder and Access Type.

3. Click Apply. The Rate Dependency Pattern window is displayed.

   Click Save button to save the draft of Rate Dependency Pattern rule.

   You can click on Actions drop-down to view the Detail Info and Audit Info of Rate Dependency Pattern rule.

   The Detail Info shows the basic details of rule, such as, Rate Dependency Pattern rule Name. Description, Folder Name, and Access Type.

   The Audit Info shows the audit details of rule.

4. Select the Rate Dependency Pattern Type from Rate Dependency Pattern Type drop-down: Rate-Level Dependent, Rate-Spread Dependent, or Economic Indicator Dependent.
5. Select the Lookup Method.

The selection of the Rate Dependency Pattern type determines the information you must provide to successfully define that pattern type. See:
