6.18.5 SDTM Failure

If there is a failure during the SDTM process due to either a system, network or FinCEN, you can change the e-file submission method to manual submission. This can happen if the e-file generates but is not transmitting to FinCEN, or during the Acknowledgment process.

To reset the submission method, follow these steps:

1. Update the Method of CTR Submission from STDM to Manual.
2. Update the Method of Submission field in the KDD_EFILE table for the generated e-file from S to M.

   The e-file will move from the STDM directory to the Manual directory. The e-file name can be used to associate the file to the e-file ID in the KDD_EFILE table, allowing the system to track the e-file.
