Copying a Job
After configuring a job to your specifications, you may want to use the job to create other jobs. To reuse a template or an existing job that has been run, you must make a copy of the job first and then any modifications, if applicable. This is equivalent to a Save As function, in which everything is the same except for the name.
When you make a copy of the job, all information in the tab pages of the
copied job are transferred to the new job, with the exception of the Job Options tab:
- The ID is null, in other words, it did not copy the ID from the copied job.
- The Creator now contains your logon ID.
