Modifying a Job

You can modify a template or a job that the system has not yet run. You cannot modify a job that has been run, but rather you must make a copy of it and modify the copy.

Modifications you can make to a job include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Adding or deleting patterns
• Adding or deleting datasets
• Adding or changing date ranges

When you make modifications to a job and save it, all changes are saved to the job. The information on the Job Options tab is not updated. For example, the ID of the job is not updated with a new ID and the Creator does not change to reflect your logon ID.
