Phase Three-Creating the Link Analysis Job

Phase Three creates a Link Analysis Job to detect networks. The job contains several parameters that filter the data evaluated for inclusion in networks, as well as filters for the resulting networks. The following table defines the steps and includes the Developer Tool used for the completion of the steps.

Step 9: Use the Link Analysis Job Editor to create the job that generates and characterizes networks based on a Network Definition created in the Network Definition Editor.

Step 10: Use the Link Analysis Job Editor to specify a Network Definition that contains both the source link dataset to be evaluated for networks and a Network Characteristics dataset to be populated with the characteristics of the discovered networks.

Step 11: Use the Link Analysis Job Editor to specify parameters for filtering links based on a lookback period, filtering networks based on a new network lookback period, and the minimum number of nodes. Refer to section Link Analysis Options Tab, for more information about filtering and pruning.
