Scenario Menu

The Scenario menu contains the following options:

• Create New Scenario: Creates a new sequence pattern.
• Open Existing Scenario: Opens a scenario.
• Copy Scenario: Copies the active pattern into a new scenario.
• Copy Pattern: Copies a pattern from within a scenario.
• Save: Saves the current scenario with any changes you have made.
• Save As: Saves a copy of the open pattern with a unique ID.
• Revert: Reverts to the saved version of a pattern within a scenario.
• Export: Exports a sequence pattern to an XML file.
• Import: Imports a sequence pattern from a previously-exported scenario (in XML format).
• Print: Prints the selected scenario pattern.
• DataSet: Adds, deletes, or reorders datasets associated with the sequence pattern.
• Add Sequence: Adds a sequence to the pattern before, after, or as a child to the selected pattern element.
• Add Row: Adds a row to the pattern before, after, or as a child to the selected pattern element.
• Add Alternation: Adds an or operator to the sequence pattern. You can add the or operator before, after, or as a child to the selected pattern element.
• Edit Roles: Defines the variables, format, and display type of Scenario attributes.
• Edit Augmentation Rules: Creates augmentation rules to supplement the information stored and displayed with each match. (Refer to Augmentation, for more information.)
• Generate Pattern Report: Generates an HTML file that contains detailed information about the sequence pattern. Refer to section Guidelines for Generating a Pattern Report, for more information.
• Edit Threshold Analyzer Roles: Defines the Threshold Analyzer Roles. Refer to section Defining Threshold Analyzer Role, for more information.
