Seq Matcher Options Tab

Use the Seq Matcher Options tab to select the sequence pattern for data matching, to indicate the search direction in the data, and to designate inter-dataset sorting of the data in the following figure.

The Seq Matcher Options tab includes the following fields:

• Select one or more patterns area: Lists available patterns within the tab. These patterns are established in the Sequence Matcher Editor; you cannot modify the content of a pattern within the job editor. The selected pattern must have the same patterns as the attributes of the dataset you selected on the DataSets table. If it does not, an error occurs when the job is run. If you are using patterns with thresholds, select only patterns within the same scenario.

  When you select a pattern, the system automatically populates the DataSets tab with the associated datasets of the selected pattern.

• Match direction: Enables you to select the sort order of rows for the selected dataset. The sys- tem default is a Forward search option; however, sequences for some patterns were written to expect rows to appear sorted in reverse order. If you select such a pattern, you need to select the Reverse option.
• Inter datasets sorting: Controls whether datasets are intermingled (that is, threaded together) based on the sorting attributes.
• Select Threshold Sets: Contains value appropriate to data to be used.
