4 Data File Encryption

In scenarios that require encrypted data files to be exchanged between applications and servers, DFCS now offers support for ingesting encrypted source files as part of this release. Administrators are given full control over encryption key management, including the ability to perform key rotation.

Encryption is optional and remains disabled by default. It becomes available only after an Administrator configures a valid encryption key.

Encryption applies to the entire file, not to individual columns. Currently, the system uses one active encryption key for all encryption and decryption activities.
