14.2 Searching Suppression Requests
You can search for existing Suppression Requests using the Suppression Administration page.
To view Suppression search results, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Suppression Administration page.The following table describes the available search criteria for the Suppression Search Details screen.

Item Description Created Date From This filters the Suppression List with suppression rules whose creation date is greater than or equal to the date entered. Created To This filters the Suppression List with suppression rules whose creation date is less than or equal to the date entered. Expiration Date From This filters the Suppression List with suppression rules whose Expiration date is greater than or equal to the date entered. Expiration Date To This filters the Suppression List with suppression rules whose Expiration date is less than or equal to the date entered. Last Action Date From This filters the Suppression List up to the date you enter by which the Last Action was taken on the suppression rule, which is greater than or equal to the date you enter. Last Action Date To This filters the Suppression List up to the date you enter by which the Last Action was taken on the suppression rule, which is less than or equal to the date you enter. Focal Entity Type This filters the Suppression List by the entity type associated. When an Entity type is specified, you must enter a value in Entity ID or Entity Name. Focal Entity ID This filters the Suppression List by the entity associated. When Entity ID is specified, you must select a value in Entity type. Focal Entity Name This searches Customers, Accounts and External Entities involved in the suppressed alerts. For Customers, it is the Customer associated with the account. Scenario Thisfilters the suppression rules by the scenario associated with a rule that is, by the name of the behavior or activity that generated that rule. Condition Description Displays the description of the condition selected on the Set Event Decision screen. Suppression ID Search by Suppression ID will Ignore all the other search parameters Current Status This filters the suppression rules based on the rule status you select. The following are the options available:
- Active
- Inactive
- Recommend
Note:
Select Created Date From and To. The default is a 30 day lookback period this can be configured using the Manage Common Parameter UI. - Click Search to view the results.
