What is New in this Release

Oracle Insurance Accounting Analyzer bundles the following new features in version 8.1.2.7.0:

  • The STG_CLAIM_TXNS table is being referred to for capturing claims transactions and STG_CLAIM_DETAILS is being referred to for other claim related details including claim outstanding as of FIC_MIS_DATE.
  • Subledger definition creation is allowed based on only unique definition names, meaning two subledger definitions can have the same dimensions but different names.
    • If the subledger definitions share same dimensions but have unique definition names, then these unique names (i.e., exact matching criteria) must only be entered in the Accounting Rules page for searching and importing accounting rules. Searching based on dimensions will not fetch any results in this scenario.
    • Importing of accounting rules is enabled for also the subledger definitions which are in draft status.
  • On the LDTI reports dashboard, a new tab called Reinsurance Held has been added under Liability Analysis page and a new report called Roll Forward Reinsurance Premiums and Recoveries has been added there.
