Access and Security

The MARM platform is secured through a robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) architecture.

Access to specific modules, data, and validation tools is strictly governed by the Role Groups assigned to your user profile.

Authentication and Login

Accessing the system is a straightforward process designed for enterprise security:
  • Simple Credentials: Users log in using their enterprise-authorized username and password credentials.
  • Role Identification:
    • Two primary functions are defined: one for viewing validation results and another for executing validations. These functions are mapped to corresponding roles—read-only and execute—to separate viewing and action-based permissions.
    • Additionally, a dedicated user group (MMG_MDL_VLDN_ADMIN) is configured, which is assigned both roles, enabling full access to view and run validations. This structure ensures controlled access, clear separation of responsibilities, and governance over validation activities.

Seamless Persona Switching

It is designed for high-efficiency workflows, particularly for users with oversight responsibilities across the model lifecycle:
  • Integrated Ecosystem: Either directly log-in as a model validator by selecting from initial login options or once logged into the Modeler Workspace (MMG), users can navigate directly to the Validator Framework via Switch to Validator Mode option in top right profile icon’s drop-down menu.
  • Single Session Access: If your Role Group has permissions for both environments, you can switch between modeling and validation spaces.
  • No Re-authentication: There is no requirement for a separate login or session interruption when moving between the Modeler and Validator interfaces, ensuring a continuous and fluid user experience.
