The Executive Dashboard serves as the central command center for model risk oversight, providing real-time visibility into the organization’s model landscape.

Global Filters and Controls

Users can refine and navigate models using a set of global filters and controls. These include filtering by workspace scope (all, production, or specific workspace), along with additional filters such as tier and status. A search option is available to quickly locate models using attributes like ID, name, version, objective, workspace, or dates. Users can reset all applied filters using the Reset Filters option.

Real-Time KPIs

Upon logging in, users are presented with a high-level summary of the model inventory's health and governance status. These KPIs provide immediate visibility into the validation lifecycle and the current risk landscape:

  • Total Tracked Models: Represents the cumulative headcount of all models ever introduced to the validation framework, including those currently undergoing review and those with finalized assessments.
  • In-Progress Validation Cycle: Tracks the total number of models currently active within the validation workflow, highlighting the current workload of the MRM team.
  • Completed Validation Cycle: Displays the count of models that have successfully concluded the independent oversight process and have a finalized validation status.
  • Overdue Validations: Flags models that have surpassed their scheduled review dates, identifying critical gaps in governance that require immediate attention.
  • High Risk Tier: A focused count of models classified under the highest risk category, ensuring these high-impact assets remain under constant executive visibility.
  • Due in Next 30 Days: A proactive metric highlighting models approaching their validation or approval expiry within the month, allowing teams to initiate reviews early and prevent governance lapses.

Interactive Visualization

The MARM dashboard utilizes dynamic, color-coded visuals to transform complex inventory data into actionable risk insights.
  • Core Visualizations: The system employs distribution charts to categorize the model universe across three governance tiers.
    • Risk Distribution: High-level views of Risk Tiers (High/Medium/Low), Business Domain concentration, and Model Type (Traditional vs. AI/ML).
    • Operational Criticality: Tracking Model Lifecycle Stages and Third-Party/Vendor model concentration.
    • Governance Depth: Analysis of Production Model Vintage to identify aging models requiring re-validation.
  • Click-Through Drill Down: Every chart element is fully interactive and serves as a navigational shortcut.
    • Filtered Redirection: Clicking any segment (for example the "High Risk" slice of a pie chart) instantly redirects the user to the Model Inventory, pre-filtered to show only the models driving that specific metric.
    • Contextual Access: This eliminates manual searching, allowing users to jump from an executive metric directly to specific model metadata or validation records in a single click.

Calendar and Deadline Integration

The dashboard integrates a centralized Validation Calendar:

  • Track upcoming regulatory deadlines and compliance milestones.
  • View scheduled model reviews and optimum resource allocations to ensure no statutory deadlines are missed.
  • Operational Example: For our RETAIL_PD_MODEL_V1, the calendar shows a validation deadline of 01-April-2026 and carries forward the count until validated.
