PIT (Point in Time)

The PIT (Point in Time) screen provides a snapshot of Oracle Analytics usage activity for a selected query start time. It summarizes usage by object type, user, and report name.

Point in time

The top section includes a Query Start Time filter. A plus icon allows additional filters to be added.

The Rows Analysis section displays word-cloud visualizations based on the number of rows returned:
  • Rows by Object Type — Highlights object types such as Advance Processes and Workbook.
  • Rows by User — Highlights users. Larger text represents higher row activity.
  • Rows by Report Name — Highlights report names such as Usage Analytics and Usage Metering
Query Analysis The lower section displays word-cloud visualizations based on query volume:
  • Queries by Object Type — Shows query activity for Workbook and Advance Processes.
  • Queries by User — Shows query activity by user
  • Queries by Report Name — Shows query activity for reports such as Usage Analytics and Usage Metering.
