16.3.3 Source – Lookup Mapping Pane

Lookup Table Driver rules support three types of matching:

  • Range Lookup
  • Exact Match
  • Hierarchy Match

This screen allows you to match the Lookup Table Driver rules with Range Lookup, Exact Match, or Hieracrchy Match.

The Lookup Types are populated in the Source – Lookup Mapping pane based on the Look table used. The Single Lookup columns display a LOV for Range lookup types while populates the Single Lookup for non-Range lookup types.

To note here, on the minimum and maximum type columns in Single Lookup and Range Lookup columns of Source – Lookup Mapping, both minimum, and maximum type columns are listed under Single Lookup and Range Lookup dropdown list if the customer has the same UDP for both minimum and maximum type columns. While if the customer has different UDPs for minimum and maximum type columns, then only minimum type columns are visible under Single Lookup and maximum type columns are visible under Range Lookup dropdown list.

There are also few data validations introduced in Lookup Driver Definition UI in this 8.1.1.0.0 version of the PFT application. The Name field checks if the driver name is unique and throws notifications if the name is not unique. The Save button at the bottom of the screen remains disabled if the driver definition name is not input or found to be duplicate.

Similarly, on Save, the user input errors are no longer displayed in a dialogue box but as notifications highlighted at the respective input elements. Driver Definition UI with sample error notifications are as follows.

After matching, this screen allows you to save the details or the Lookup Table Driver.
