7.4 Setting Due Date for Reports

The Set Due Date action allows you to set a due date or modify an existing due date of a SAR.

The due date is set based on the date the SAR creation request is sent from the OFS ECM to OFS CRR. This is the period during which the SAR must be filed with FinCEN. The Due date is configurable, and by default, it is set to 30 days from the date of SAR creation. It includes only business days, excluding holidays and weekends. This action button is also available on the Report List page so that you can take action on multiple reports.

The following table explains the statuses in which the Analyst, Supervisor, and Superuser users can perform the Set Due Date action.
