6.3.1.1 Editing Process Onboarding

To edit process onboarding:

Note:

  • You can select Edit Onboarding only if the process is in the Approved state.
  • Pipeline onboarding is supported only for the following process types:
    • RRF Process
    • RRF Run Process
  • Pipeline onboarding is not applicable for Composite processes.

Edit Onboarding allows you to modify a previously submitted onboarding configuration. If the original onboarding was completed using automated onboarding (with uploaded specification files), those files and the recommendations they generated are retained when you re-enter the flow. You can upload a new or updated specification file to refresh recommendations, or continue without re-uploading.

When you return to any previously completed step, the behaviour of the Show Recommendations toggle differs from first-time onboarding:
  • The toggle defaults to OFF on every previously completed step (Source Data Selection, Date Management, Input Variable Mapping, and Output Table Selection).
  • Turning the toggle ON displays the recommendations list, but recommended items are NOT auto-selected. Previously saved selections remain as-is.
  • You must manually select any recommendations you want to apply before saving.
  1. Login to STSA.
  2. In the Workspace Summary, Sandbox tab, select the required workspace.
  3. Click Building Blocks and under the Process tile, click View.
The Process Summary page is displayed.
  4. To onboard a model, click Actions and then click Edit Onboarding against the model.
The Model Specifications Set Up page opens.
  5. Do either of the following:
    • For Automated Onboarding: Previously uploaded files show an "Uploaded" status. To update, click Clear next to the file and upload the new version. To keep existing data, click Continue.
    • For Manual Onboarding: If no files were previously used, you may upload them now to enable recommendations or click Continue to remain in manual mode.
  6. In the Source Data Selection page, do the following:
    • To view recommendations: Turn the Show Recommendations toggle ON. Previously saved selections are retained, and recommended assets are displayed with a "Recommended" chip.
    • To update assets: Select or deselect assets as required and click Continue.
    • Confirm selection: If assets are selected, click OK on the Information dialog to allow the system to generate auto-suggestions for subsequent mapping steps.
  7. In the Date Management and Input Variable Mapping pages, do the following:
    • To view recommendations: Turn the Show Recommendations toggle ON for the specific logical reference.
    • To update mappings: Click the Actions menu and select Map Assets.
    • To manage entries: Select or deselect entries as required. To remove a mapping, deselect the entry and click Save. Removal is processed automatically in the background.
    • Save changes: Click Save and then click Continue once all updates are finalized.
  8. In the Output Table Selection page, do the following:
    • To view recommendations: Turn the Show Recommendations toggle ON to see suggested output tables.
    • To update selection: Select or deselect output tables as required and click Continue.
    • Confirm selection: Click OK on the Information dialog to enable auto-suggestions for the Output Metric Mapping step.
  9. In the Output Metric Mapping page, do the following:
    • To update mappings: Click the Actions menu and select Map Assets for the relevant logical reference.
    • To manage entries: Select or deselect entries as required. To remove mappings, deselect the relevant entries and click Save. Removal is processed automatically in the background.
    • Save changes: Click Save after updating each reference, then click Continue.

    Note:

When you click Map Assets, the Configure mapping for the selected input table/column page is displayed. Select or deselect mapping entries as required, then click Save. Deselected entries are removed automatically in the background.

    • Select the required portfolios.
    • Select Bank-Wide if the model must be applicable across all portfolios.
If you select the Bank-Wide check box:
    • Individual portfolio selection is not required.
    • The portfolio mapping step is automatically considered complete.
  11. In the Review & Submit page that opens, verify all defined configurations and finalize the model onboarding process. Do the following:

    2. If Critical alerts are displayed, click the corresponding Actions icon.
    3. Complete the required mappings on the relevant configuration pages.
    4. Return to the Review & Submit page and verify that all alerts are resolved.
