Adding Footer Data Transformation Details in a File Request Type

Prerequisites

To add footer data transformation details in a file request type, you should have:

  • The Data Transformation Required field selected in the Main section

Procedure

To add footer transformation details in a file request type:

  1. Click the Admin link in the Actions / Navigation area.
    A list appears.
  2. From the Admin menu, select F and then click File Request Type.
    A sub-menu appears.
  3. Click the Add option from the File Request Type sub-menu.
    The File Request Type screen appears.
  4. Enter the appropriate details in the Main section, if required.
  5. Enter the appropriate details in the Services and Messages section, if required.
  6. Ensure that the Data Transformation section is expanded when you are defining, editing, or copying a file request type.
  7. Ensure Footer Transformation sub-section is expanded. The Footer Transformation sub-section contains the following fields:
    Column Name Column Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Sequence Used to specify the mapping of footer values in CSV or PSV format files, where the sequence number corresponds to the position of the footer in the file. Yes
    Field Name Used to specify a unique name for the footer field that will map to the corresponding file sequence footer value.
    Note: A map with these configured Field Names and the corresponding Field Values is provided as an input to the transformation algorithm.

    Required Used to indicate footer level validations are necessary for every record while uploading data using the File Transform and Upload (C1-FTRAN) batch. No
    Edit Input Used to specify whether the footer value can be modified during processing, based on the default value configurations. No
    Default Value Used to specify default values that will be applied when generating the record payload. Yes (Conditional)
    Note: This is required when Sequence Number is ZERO: 0. The sequence number ZERO: 0 is reserved for capturing default values.
    Date/Time Format Used to specify the format of date or time values in the input file according to user-defined format. No
  8. Enter the required footer transformation details.
  9. One or more transformation details can be configured. If you want to define more than one transformation detail for the file request type, click the Add (The Add Icon) icon and then repeat Step 7 and Step 8.
    Note: However, if you want to remove a transformation detail from the file request type, click the Delete (The Delete Icon) icon corresponding to the file segment type.
  10. Click Save.
    The footer transformation details are added in the File Request Type.
