C1-REN-PROC

This algorithm is invoked when the status of the upload request is changed to Processing. It fetches a list of records which are in the Valid status. For each valid record, this algorithm reinstates the respective fully insured group policy and changes its status to Pending Reinstatement.

Note: The system updates the policy using the entity business object specified in the respective upload request type.

If the record is successfully processed, the status of the record is changed to Processed. However, if the record could not be processed successfully due to any reason, the status of the record is changed to Error. Finally, the status of the upload request is changed to Processed.

This algorithm contains the following parameter:

  • Policy Status after Processing Reinstatement Upload Request - Used to specify the status to which you want to transition the policy when the policy reinstatement upload request is processed.

    Note: Here, you must specify the PENDREINSTAT status defined in the lifecycle of the C1-POLICY business object. The system will then transition the respective fully insured group policy to the Pending Reinstatement status when the policy reinstatement upload request is processed.

The above parameter is mandatory.
