Data Extraction from Datasets

Oracle Revenue Management and Billing enables you to extract invoice related data from a set of consolidated data which is deployed in the ORMB database as datasets in the form of tables. To generate a file using these datasets, you need to create an extract template in the application for which a new screen named Extract Template for Datasets is introduced in this release. In the Extract Template for Datasets screen, you need to add basic information about the extract template, define the format in which you want to extract the invoice related data, and map the dataset with the fields whose information you want to extract. The process of data extraction from the datasets is completed by running the C1-GENEX batch which is responsible to fetch data from the backend as requested in the extract template. After the successful execution of the C1-GENEX batch, the extracted file is saved in the location as mentioned while defining the C1-GENEX batch.
