Discounts (Add-On Tax)

Daily detail report that shows subtotal and item discount totals.

Description

The Discounts report is a daily detail report that consists of a multi-KPI tile, a pie chart, tables, and a grid that show the most popular discounts, summarize totals for all discounts, and display discount details by type for a given day. This report is for restaurants with add-on taxes.

Permission: Sales and Operations.

Specialized parameter: Click Edit Parameters and then use the Other parameter to select specific discounts to view in the report.

Discount Name	String	Discount names are categorized into subtotal discounts, item discounts, temporary definitions, and unknown type of discount. Drills down to All Checks with Discount.
Discount Amount Total	Currency	Total monetary discount amount.
Percentage of Total Discounts	Percent	Discount total as a percentage of all discounts total.
Discount Count	Integer	Number of times the discount was applied.
Average Amount	Currency	Average monetary amount for this discount.
