Description

The Employee Exceptions report is an operations performance report that consists of a table with smart cells that show sales and adjustment metrics. This report shows adjustments, sales, and tips by employee to identify your top performing employees and underperformers. This report is for table service restaurants with add-on taxes.

Permissions: Sales and Operations and Employee Performance.

This report component table has two static cells and six smart cells. Click Manage Columns to select smart cells.

Employee Name (static cell)	String	Employee name.

Cancels (smart cell)	Integer	Number of canceled transactions. Drills down to Canceled Transactions.
Cancels Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Cancel count divided by net sales.
Charged Sales (smart cell)	Currency	Charge sales.
Charged Sales Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Charge sales divided by net sales.
Direct Cash Tips (smart cell)	Currency	Direct cash tips.
Direct Cash Tips Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Direct cash tips as a percent of all gross receipts (direct cash tips divided by gross receipts).
Direct Charged Tips (smart cell)	Currency	Direct charged tips. Drills down to All Checks with Charged Tips.
Direct Charged Tips Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Direct charged tips divided by gross receipts.
Discounts (smart cell)	Currency	Monetary amount of discounts. Drills down to All Checks with a Discount.
Discount Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Discount total divided by net sales.
Error Corrects (smart cell)	Currency	Monetary amount of error corrects for employee. Drills down to All Checks with Error Corrects.
Error Correct Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Error correct total divided by net sales.
Gross Receipts (smart cell)	Currency	Gross receipts from food and beverage.
Indirect Tips (smart cell)	Currency	Indirect tips.
Indirect Tips Percent (smart cells)	Percent	Indirect tips as a percent of all gross receipts (indirect tips divided by gross receipts).
Manager Voids (smart cell)	Currency	Monetary amount of voids employee has authorized. Drills down to All Checks with Manager Voids.
Manager Voids Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Manager void total divided by net sales.
Net Sales (smart cell)	Currency	Net sales. Drills down to Employee Sales Mix Detail.
No Sales (smart cell)	Integer	Number of transactions without a sale.
Returns (smart cell)	Currency	Monetary amount of returns for employee. Drills down to All Checks with Returns.
Returns Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Return total divided by net sales.
Tips Paid (smart cell)	Currency	Tips paid.
Tips Paid Percent (smart cell)	Percent	Tips paid divided by gross receipts.
Total Tips (smart cell)	Currency	Sum of direct charged tips plus direct cash tips plus indirect tips.
