Sales Variance (Add-On Tax)

Comparison report that shows sales across multiple dates.

Description

The Sales Variance report is a comparison report that consists of KPI tiles, bar charts, and tables that show net sales for a selected date, the previous week, and the previous year. The report calculates the variance among the three dates. This report is for restaurants with add-on taxes.

Permission: Sales and Operations.

Average Net Sales	Currency	Single line noting the average net sales.

Total Row	Variable	The top row of the table shows totals for each metric.
Name	String	Name of location or revenue center.
Selected Date Net Sales	Currency	Net sales on selected date.
Same Day Previous Week Net Sales	Currency	Net sales on the date one week prior to the selected date.
Variance Amount	Currency	Monetary variance between the selected date and the date one week prior.
Variance Percent	Percent	Percent of variance between the selected date and the date one week prior.
Same Day Previous Year Net Sales	Currency	Net sales on the date one year prior to the selected date.
Variance Amount	Currency	Monetary variance between the selected date and the date one year prior.
Variance Percent	Percent	Percent of variance between the selected date and the date one year prior.

Variance calculations do not take into account missing or partial days.
