4 Activate and Run the Recipe

After you’ve configured the connections and lookup tables, activate the recipe package and run the recipe.

In the Configuration Editor, click Activate in the title bar. In the Activate Package dialog, click Activate again.

A message confirms that the integration has been activated. Refresh the page to view the updated status of the integration.

Note:
Activation of the integration does subscribe it to the respective events (Supplier update and Item Update) as explained in the above sections.
Run the recipe.
1. To validate the Oracle SCM to Oracle MICROS IM Supplier Sync integration you need to go thru the steps in Fusion Supplier Self-Registration process, Create a Supplier and make the supplier “Active” and approve its status as “Spend Authorized”. This should trigger the integration.
2. To validate the Oracle SCM to Oracle MICROS IM Item Sync, you need to go thru the steps in Fusion Product Life Cycle Management process, Create an Item, and make the item “Active”. This should trigger the integration.
3. Both integrations above should trigger Oracle SCM to Oracle MICROS IM Master Data Sync and the request to create Master data should get a response back from MICROS as “true” in the integration tracking.
Monitor the running of the integration flow in Oracle Integration.
1. In the Configuration Editor, click Activation to view the integrations in the recipe.
2. Hover over the integration to monitor, click Actions , select Run, and then click Track Instances.
3. On the Track Instances page, you’ll see the integration flow of the recipe being triggered and executing successfully.
Go to the Master Data module at Inventory Management and search for the newly created Supplier/Vendor and Item record(s).
