2 Before You Install the Recipe
Perform the following configuration tasks to successfully run the recipe.
Configure Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM

Perform all the base configurations in SCM, including setting up security, access roles, inventory, procurement and product hub. Important base configurations include:

Configure Inventory Locations, Inventory Organizations

Configure Items which includes: Items, Catalog and Category, Unit of measures and Standard UOM Conversions

Complete the Procurement configuration setup, which includes: Requisition business function, Procurement business function, Requisition approvals

Create suppliers and supplier sites
-
Auto Approval configurations for Requisitions for the specified BU or Requester

Leverage a Blanket Purchase agreement to automatically convert your purchase requisitions into purchase orders

Create a separate integration user account in SCM to access SCM from OIC.
Log in to the SCM instance as an Administrator and perform the following tasks:-
Create an user account for OIC which will be required to connect to SCM from OIC using the Oracle ERP adapter.

Assign roles to the user account, please find more details at Assign Required Roles to an Integration User.

In addition to the above roles, also assign the roles needed for OIC to perform the below operations in SCM Procurement Cloud.

Create Purchase Requisitions via Bulk Data Import

Launch ESS Jobs

Retrieve Supplier Information

Retrieve Item Information

Configure Oracle MICROS Inventory Management

Configure IM B2B Scheduler jobs to process the Order and Order Acknowledgement files in the FTP location. The FTP location must be defined in the OIC lookup references.

Create an FTP account with Read/Write access, to be used in the Integration Cloud FTP connections.
