Workstations

1. In the EMC, select the property, and then click Setup.
2. Below Hardware/Interfaces and Clients and Printing, click Workstations.
3. Double click the row header for the workstation that will communicate with the payment terminal.
4. From the Devices Tab, click Add, and then configure the following fields:

   • Select Peripheral Device Type: Simphony Payment Interface

   • Host Timeout: 120

   • Primary Host: https://<ip address of device>:8443.

     • This value can be entered or updated later after the devices are on the same network. See Network Settings for more details.

   • Validate XML Message Against Schema: False

   • Security Settings: use Https with no certificate validation

5. Click OK.
6. Click Save.
