Connect Verifone P630 to Network

  1. Connect the terminal to a power supply. During startup, the display turns on and off a few times.
  2. If you are using Ethernet LAN, connect the Ethernet cable to the port marked ETH.
  3. If you are using Wi-Fi, tap Configure Network.
    1. Tap Wi-Fi.
    2. Select Wi-Fi.
    3. Tap the + icon to add a network and then complete one of these two options:
      • Select the network from the list and then enter the Wi-Fi password.

      • Tap Add manually and then enter the name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network and the Wi-Fi password.

    4. Tap the check mark to confirm.

The terminal sets the network as default automatically and connects to it. You then see a Wi-Fi icon at the top of the display.

Note:

To changed the Wi-Fi network, navigate to the Admin menu, click Network, and then click Wi-Fi.
