Restricted Auth & Pay

Restricted Auth & Pay is a variation of Auth & Pay that instructs the payment service provider (PSP) to accept only the specified payment card type. Restricted payments are initiated by selecting the buttons for the appropriate restricted tender.

If the PSP ignores the restriction and processes a payment card other than the allowed type, the Simphony Payment Interface (SPI) displays an error to the user and reverses the transaction.

Cash back is not supported with Restricted Auth & Pay.
