Void Card Partial Cash Refund

Refund items by using void transaction, partially refund a card, and then refund cash.

1. Log in to workstation 01.
2. Start a transaction. For example, Check 1.
3. Select Void.
4. Sell items. For example, balance = –$10.00.
5. Sell item of less value than the voided item. For example, $4.00.
6. Select CC Auth & Pay, and then tap, swipe, or insert the credit card (for example, a Visa card), and then enter an amount less than the balance (for example, $5.00).
   The PED lights up prompting for the card. The authorization and payment is successful, the credit card vouchers for the refund are printed, and the authorization and payment refund details are displayed in the Check Detail Area. The credit card is increased by the refunded amount and is visible in the customer’s card statement.
7. Select Cash and then enter the exact amount to pay off the transaction. For example, $1.00.
