Inventory Counts

The Inventory Counts module allows you to view open and closed counts, enter counted quantities, and evaluate inventory differences.

On the Dashboard page, click Inventory, and then Inventory Counts. The Inventory Counts page displays all existing inventory counts.

Filters

By default, all open inventory counts are displayed and sorted by location name.

• Inventory Type: Filter for All, Full, or Partial counts.

• Subsidiary: Filter inventory counts by selected subsidiaries.

• Location: Filter inventory counts by selected locations.

• Status: Filter inventory counts by status:

  • Open: Inventory counts that have been created and/or are in progress

  • Booked: Inventory counts that have already been booked

  • Cancelled: Inventory counts that have been cancelled

• Search: In addition to the previous filters, you can use the Search field to find an inventory count. Enter the full inventory name or part of the name to locate matching counts.

The list shows all inventory counts based on previously entered filters and/or search criteria. The following columns are displayed:

• Inventory Date

• Inventory Name/ID

• Location

• Inventory Type

• Memo

• Status

• Updated by

• Subsidiary

• Created by Scheduled Job

• Action Menu (status/permission controlled)

From here you can:

• Create new counts

• View/Edit existing open counts

• Refresh an open count

• Book an open count

• Cancel an open count

• Re-open a booked count

• View the count audit

• Create New Inventory Counts
