View/Edit Existing Inventory Counts

To access an inventory count, either click the hyperlink in the Inventory Name column or open the Actions menu at the right side of the table and select View/Edit.

The available access type depends on the status of the inventory count:

• Open counts can be viewed and edited.

• Booked counts can only be viewed.

• Cancelled counts can no longer be viewed or edited.

View/Edit Open Inventory Counts

When viewing or editing open inventory counts, users may see different views depending on the permissions assigned to their roles.

• Simple View: Also known as a Blind Count, this view displays only the items, units, and an entry field for the counted quantity.

• Full View: In addition to the fields available in the Simple View, this view also displays calculated on-hand quantities and deviation values.

Function	Description
Close	Closes the current view and returns to the list of counts.
Book	Requires permission for Full View.
Refresh	Refreshes counted data. This is required when multiple users may enter data for the same location.
Calculate Combined Totals	Requires permission for Full View. Available only for inventory counts based on Areas and Shelves definitions where items can be counted multiple times in one location on different shelves. Required to summarize entered data from multiple rows for the same item.
Print	Generates a count sheet in PDF format that can be printed.
Add Item	Requires permission to add items. Allows users to add items to the inventory count.
Expand All / Collapse All	Allows users to expand or collapse the grouping in the count screen.
Sort By	Available for inventory counts based on Item Groups. Allows users to sort items in the list by: Item Group and Item Name, or Item Name only.
Filter By	Requires permission for Full View. Allows users to filter items that have deviations or are unassigned.
Search	Allows users to search for items by typing keywords.
Auto Save	Entered data is saved immediately. If disabled, a Save button is displayed and the user must save the entered data manually.
