Recovery Actions

Only the actions that are valid for the current state of the latest import run are available.

Table 9-1 Recovery Actions

Action	When to Use	Description
Mark Stale Job Failed	Use this action when an import report remains in a Pending or In Progress state after its NetSuite task has stopped.	Does not stop a running Map/Reduce task. Marks pending and in-progress report records for the import run as Failed. Changes the import run status to Aborted and records the recovery reason. Makes retry and cleanup actions available after you refresh the page.
Retry Failed Step	Use this action after resolving the cause of a failed NetSuite record creation step.	Available only when no report is in progress and at least one NetSuite record creation step has failed. Retries the first failed or pending step in the defined import sequence. Preserves successfully mapped stage records. Restarts the appropriate record creation task for the selected import run.
Reset Run to Staged	Use this action to return a partially processed import run to its staged state.	Available only when no report is in progress and record mapping or NetSuite record creation has started. Starts the cleanup process for the selected import run. Deletes only the records created by the import run. Existing matched records are not affected. Clears mapping information, audit links, and NetSuite record creation status after cleanup completes. Note: Resetting very large import runs may take additional time.
Discard Staged Run	Use this action to remove an unprocessed import run without changing NetSuite business records.	Available only when the import run is isolated from other active staging and report data. Requires stage records that have not been mapped or processed. Deletes the import run's stage and report records in the background. Retains the import run record with a status of Discarded for audit history.
Resume Finalization	Use this action when an import run ends with a FINALIZE_FAILED status.	Inactivates only the stage and report records associated with the selected import run. Resumes the cleanup and final verification process. Sets the import run status to Completed after all active stage and report records have been processed.
Return to Sideload Candidate	Use this action to make an adopted but unprocessed NetSuite CSV sideload available for reuse.	Available only for NetSuite CSV imports in the STAGED or SIDELOAD_CLAIM_FAILED state. Requires an isolated import run with no mapping or NetSuite record creation activity. Removes the import run association from active stage records. Deletes report records created for the abandoned sideload import.
