Upgrading the RDC Operating System

The RDCPlatformUpdate.zip file consists of two self-extracting files that you need to execute on an existing CAL server.

1. Run the CALClientUpdate(4.1.3.66).exe.

   This is a self-extracting file that contains the updated CAL client for both RDC models (GX and LX). This executable file creates the CAL package on the CAL server to deploy the CAL client to the RDC.

   This is the same version of CAL client that ships with newer RDCs, so you may notice that the CAL package does not appear to update some RDCs.

2. Run the ClientOSUpdate(4.2.2.0).exe. Each of these CAL packages restarts the RDC several times during the update.

   This is a self-extracting file that contains the updated RDC operating system image for both RDC models (GX and LX). This executable file creates the CAL package on the CAL server to deploy the operating system update to the RDC.
