Allowing Employees to Launch and Close a Support Session

You can grant the privilege for Simphony Cloud users to launch or close a support session on Oracle Linux workstations. This privilege must be enabled for the Launch Support Session and the Close Support Session buttons to be active on the Linux-based workstation.

  1. Select the Enterprise, click Configuration, and then click Roles.
  2. Double-click an employee role.
  3. Click the Operations tab, click the PMC Procedures subtab, and then select 30070 - Launch/Close Support Session.

    Selecting 30070 allows employees associated with the role to start and close a support session from POS operations or from the Property Management Console (PMC).

  4. Click Save.
