Employee Groups
Each employee in a Simphony system is associated with an Employee Group, configured in the EMC’s Employee Maintenance module. This field is a layer of security that controls how employees interact with other employees by preventing some employees from accessing other employee records. While useful, this field is quite restrictive; the Employee Level field is more commonly used.
