1 Introduction

Oracle MICROS Simphony is an enterprise transaction processing platform used by businesses which vary in size from single unit to global, franchised, multi-unit operations.

Administrators can configure Simphony using the Enterprise Management Console (EMC) tool. This application allows you to set up the Enterprise, properties, revenue centers, and zones from a computer which has access to the central server.
