Configuring a Custom Page Template
Custom page templates allow users to be flexible when configuring
custom pages in the Page Design module. The following steps describe
how to create and configure a custom page template:
- In EMC, at the Enterprise level, navigate to the Setup tab and then click Page Templates in the Custom Content section.
- Create a new page template record, import the appropriate template file, and then click Save.
- Navigate back to the Page Templates list, click the ... button in the options tab of the newly created template.
- Select option 1 – Can Be Edited “In Template” and then click OK.
- Click Save.
- At the Enterprise level, navigate to the Configuration tab and then click Page Design in the User Interface section.
- Create a new page and then select the page template you created in steps 2-5 from the Database Templates tab.
- The custom page template now displays in the Page Design module and can be edited.
