Assigning Default Touchscreen Pages

Default touchscreens are displayed on workstations if no conditions have been set.

Conditions can be based on menu levels, serving periods, employee class, and other criteria. See Assigning Conditional Touchscreen Pages for more information about setting conditional pages.

  1. Select the Enterprise, property, revenue center, or zone, click Configuration, and then click Page Assignment.
  2. Click the System Defaults tab, and then configure the default touchscreen pages as described in the following table.

    Page Name Description

    Default Sign In Page

    Select the default page for workstation operators to sign on to a workstation.

    Default Home Page

    Select the default page when workstation operators are signed on to a workstation and outside a transaction. If no Home page is configured, the Transaction page appears.

    Default Transaction Page

    Select the default page for operators who are signed on and performing a transaction.

    Default Training Home Page

    Select the default page when workstation operators in training mode are signed on to a workstation and outside a transaction.

    Default Training Transaction Page

    Select the default page for operators in training mode who are signed in and performing a transaction. If you select 0 - None, employees in training mode see the default touchscreen based on the touchscreen hierarchy.

    Default Welcome Page

    Select the default page that is displayed when no operators are signed on to a workstation. This is for Engagement Cloud Service only.

    Default Hub Page

    Select the default Hub page when operators are signed on to a workstation. This is for Engagement Cloud Service only.

  3. Click Save.
