Oracle Payments Order and Pay Device Considerations

Properties with a large number of menu items may experience degraded performance on Oracle Payment Order and Pay devices, resulting in longer download times for data and supporting content (such as images).

Key considerations:

• Using a wireless network instead of a wired network can further degrade performance.

• If your database contains more than 10,000 menu items, device startup and download times may exceed 2 minutes.

• If your database contains more than 25,000 menu items, startup and download times may exceed 5 minutes.

After the devices finish loading the data and complete startup, performance returns to normal.
