Family Groups

Each Menu Item Master is assigned a Major and Family Group, so it is presented with similar menu items on reports such as:
  • Cloud: Summary, Menu Item Sales and Performance, and Comparison reports

  • Point-of-sale (POS) Client: Family Group Sales

The following features are available on the Row Header Function menu:
  • Promote: Moves the record from its current hierarchy level to the Enterprise level.
  • Merge: Moves the record from its current hierarchy level to the Enterprise level and deletes all other records with the same object number that are identical to it.

The following table shows how Major and Family Groups are used to organize menu items:
